Oh, what Love?
Question
.  During this Black History month and on Valentines day,
how will you display your LOVE for Jesus, the one who made YOU completely free?

What creative ways will you demonstrate AGAPE love to your fellow neighbor even though they may not look, act, or think exactly like you?

February is not only a time where we reflect and display our LOVE for our African American Heritage but there's also one special day set aside where we embrace the entire notion of LOVE.  That day is February 14th.

Sometimes the struggles we endure in life can cause us to lose zeal, hope, and LOVE for life itself.  Often times, the things hardest fought for are the things less appreciated, reverenced, remembered, or even LOVED.  As we continue progressing as a people, let's not lose LOVE  or appreciation for our forefathers and mothers who fought for us to attain the freedoms and luxuries enjoyed by us today. Let us demonstrate LOVE and HONOR to those who kept the faith even in the midst of adversity, all for the sake of "LOVE" for those who would come after them.

While remembering history is wonderful and displaying cultural pride is great; let us remain balanced in tributes this month and respect all people, regardless of their cultural or ethnic backgrounds.  Yes, the Lord proved that He loved variety by creating us all different, but His primary concern was what was on the inside (our heart) NOT the outside (our color, ethnicity, or creed).  Christ knew ONE color, "RED" and ONE doctrine, "LOVE!"  He demonstrated this perfect, AGAPE, LOVE as He fought for our FREEDOM (from sin) on Calvary's Cross. Christ demonstrated His perfect, passionate, AGAPE LOVE which bled, RED, on that great day in history.
