About the Pastor
Pastor Lorraine Chatmon serves as Senior Pastor and Teacher at New Life Christian Center Church, Emporia, Virginia. A native daughter of Emporia, Virginia she began her kingdom assignment as Co-Pastor at New Life and served faithfully for 8 years before fulfilling her current title of Senior Pastor.
Pastor Chatmon has a plethora of educational experience. She holds an Associates degree in Human Services from Southside Community College in Alberta, VA as well as a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville,VA. Currently she is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Christian Education at the Berean Light Institute located in Emporia, VA. Additionally, she completed course work at Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA to become a certified Nutritionist and is currently employed by Crater District AAA as Nutrition Specialist.
Appointed by God and anointed by the Holy Ghost to preach an on time, “fiery” message, Pastor Chatmon provides practical, yet insightful and powerful, tools which empower people to become true disciples of Christ, equipped to live up to their fullest potential in God. Dedicated to spreading the good news of the Gospel, she is a sought after preacher, speaker, revivalist, lecturer, and worship leader who is regularly called upon to encourage people of God within the various communities.
